ChemiCloud Overview
If it was not for their highly discounted prices for new sign-ups, ChemiCloud’s prices seem a bit on the high side. That discount brings it to a more manageable level but potential customers should note the steep increase after the honeymoon period.
Still, they offer fairly robust products for the price and there is a lot to like here. Aside from the usual freebies like domain name and SSL, you can also get them to migrate your existing sites for free.
Of special note are their Cloud VPS plans which definitely do not come cheap. These start at a discounted price of almost $60. Targeted at high-performance sites, the plans are fully managed and incredibly powerful, offering generous amounts of resources and the use of cPanel licensing as well.
Is ChemiCloud Right for You? Different Use Cases
1. For Newbies and Individual Bloggers
I was on the fence about recommending ChemiCloud’s shred hosting plans for newbies and bloggers. The key reason being their pricing. With low latency and generally high uptime, ChemiCloud’s performance isn’t the issue here.
Yet for users who want simple or static sites, or just have low traffic volumes, it can be a bit difficult to justify the cost. Still, if what you’re after is performance then this would be a good option, especially for the self-conscious.
We also shouldn’t forget their inclusion of a free lifetime domain name, SSL, and site migration. Coupled with a very extensive yet intuitive user dashboard, ChemiCloud can still be a solid hosting choice for bloggers and entry-level users.
