Weebly and other site builders like it seem specially created for freelancers and small business owners. The team management feature can be very useful to both groups of people and it honestly takes no tech knowledge for the latter to build their own sites. The cost is for sure a mere fraction of what outsourcing a web project would entail a business too.

For Online Shops

Although Weebly has special plans for eCommerce sites, I somehow feel as if there is too much feature difference between the plans even though the cheapest already costs $12 a month. Realistically speaking, unless you’re simply testing out Weebly, it is unlikely that any plan below the most expensive Business Plan will satisfy an Online Store owner.

For Agencies and Developers

Website builders aren’t really meant for development and Weebly is certainly no different. I have seen some others that offer some development tools, but you won’t find them here. Custom coding to Weebly means adding some HTML here and there – a far cry from what a developer will need.

Onboarding

The onboarding process for Weebly is a smooth as the premise of using its site building features. It is simple, fast, and pain-free. All you need is to create an account and you can be slapping together a website in less than a few minutes.

It will only be some time after you’ve signed up that you even notice what’s missing from your plan. That’s when the Weebly pricing will kick in and for those of you who weren’t aware – the lack of functionality in free plans are terrible.

The reason why I’ve slipped from sign-up to features in the blink of an eye is because that’s exactly how you’ll feel the process has gone. It is so quick and easy that you will hardly know it before you’re in the system and fiddling around with it.
